The EMT-Basic course is designed to train individuals to provide comprehensive emergency medical care at the basic life support level to victims of illness or injury. Upon completion of the course, students are able to assess and appropriately treat conditions ranging from simple fractures, stroke, and chest pain to critical trauma, cardiac arrest, and childbirth.
The 24-hour EMT-Refresher course is a review of the skills and knowledge covered in the EMT-Basic course. Attendance in an EMT-Refresher course and successful completion of practical testing every two years is required by the state to maintain EMT certification.
This course trains individuals who are the first to arrive at an emergency to provide efficient and accurate pre-hospital care. Students assess patients for wounds to determine if trauma, shock, burns or closed airways are a problem and how to address those issues by dressing wounds, stabilizing the person or administering oxygen.
The 16-hour Emergency Medical Responder Refresher course is a review of the skills and knowledge covered in the 44-hour Emergency Medical Responder course.
The Heartsaver AED with Pediatric CPR Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED. Pediatric CPR skills may be taught if students live or work in a setting where children are present. Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking for responsive adult, child and infant victims.
The Heartsaver AED and First Aid Course teaches rescuers to effectively recognize and treat adult emergencies in the critical first minutes until emergency medical services personnel arrive. The course also provides a complete health and safety training solution for first aid, adult and pediatric CPR with AED.

Basic first aid skills include stopping bleeding, bandaging wounds, and splinting broken bones and sprained joints. First aid is a skill that a person will be able to use in a wide variety of situations throughout his or her entire life.
The BLS Healthcare Provider Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. The course is intended for certified or noncertified, licensed or nonlicensed healthcare professionals.
This course is designed to meet the renewal BLS CPR requirements of Nurses, Physicians, Respiratory Therapists, and other Allied Health Professionals and Students who hold a current BLS CPR certification and wish to renew without attending a full length course. This courses provides an instructor led review of core topics and written/skill testing.
The American Heart Association's Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support course is totally redesigned for healthcare providers who either direct or participate in the resuscitation of a patient, whether in or out of hospital. Through the ACLS course, providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies.
The Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) addresses the issues of evaluating and communicating hazards to workers. Employees have both a need and a right to know the hazards and identities of the hazardous substances they are exposed to when working.
This course teaches employees how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. It covers the general information portion of the Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 1910.1030 for training of anyone with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. The online BBP Course is designed to meet OSHA requirements when paired with site-specific BBP training.
The OSHA standard for The Control of Hazardous Energy (Lockout/Tagout), Title 29 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 1910.147, addresses the practices and procedures necessary to disable machinery or equipment, thereby preventing the release of hazardous energy while employees perform servicing and maintenance activities.
The expanding market of non-medical Training Sites, created a need for BLS Instructor level that did not require an entry level of Healthcare provider skills. The Heartsaver Instructor course focuses on the skills necessary to teach all Heartsaver level courses. The AHA Heartsaver Instructor Course provides candidates with the knowledge and skill to instruct and evaluate Heartsaver providers.
This course evaluates the methods of instruction needed to effectively conduct resuscitation courses. In order to attend this course, instructors must have current AHA BLS Instructor status and meet the instructor renewal criteria as outlined in the AHA Program Administration Manual.
